Miyuki blinked as her weapons were so easily pushed to the side, and she hesitated for a moment, before pulling them back towards her, jumping a few feet back, away from her Captain. Fighting against him always reminding her of just how little she actually knew about fighting, and told her how much she still had to learn. She tightened her grip on her swords, deciding to let him come in for the next attack. Either she would drive him away, or she'd have to unleash her ban kai.

The Captain looked at his lieutenant for a moment, before muttering Koppamijin under his breath. The scythe's point broke off and shattered, the fragments swirling around in the air for a moment before Persona raised a hand. The points raised together. He pointed his hand at his lieutenant and the fragments launched themselves at her.

Well, there went her chance of not having to use her ban kai. The words were out of her mouth quickly, and ice shot out of her swords, engulfing her arms from the elbows down. Moisture in the air froze around her, creating a thin shield which managed to stop most of the fragments. The rest ended up embedded in the thick sheets of ice that were once her swords, and into the ice on her arms. That was a close one. The ice shield shattered now, falling uselessly to the ground as Miyuki dashed forwards, slashing out at her Captain with her left sword.

Persona watched with amazement as Miyuki called out her bankai. Finally He mentally thought. However, the zoning out gave his lieutenant the edge that she needed. The Captain finally realized that she was swinging at him with her sword. He narrowly managed to block the attack by swinging the staff of the scythe and blocking it for the shards which had been the metal part of the scythe had fallen lifeless to the ground. His robes rustled for the wind (force) that their swords clashed. They clashed a bit too close to his body for comfort.

The left was blocked, but there was still the right. And, if she was quick enough, she could possibly hit him. She kept pushing against his staff with her left sword, hoping to keep the staff still as she swung her right sword at his torso, eyes sharp, hoping to catch any movement that would dictate her next move to her. There was no way that she was going to be driven down or back now, not in her mind. She was so close, she had to win this spar against her Captain. He had not called out his bankai, and she was thankful for that, but still, she'd like to think she could keep her edge even after he called it out. if he did so.

Out of the corner of his eyes, he caught movement. Before he knew it, his scythe had fallen back into it's first form, and the shards on the ground had disappeared. The Captain twirled his stick as he parted his feet and took a step back. He braced himself, pushing his spear against both of the swords, narrowly having prevented the right attack. However, he could only stand braced like that for a while, and the stance left him highly exposed on his lower and higher sections of his body.

Yes! This was what she was waiting for. Miyuki pushed down on her swords, before swinging her right sword up and to the left so that she would, if not defended against, would end up cutting her Captain across the chest. She kept her other sword pressed hard against the spear, hoping that this would keep him from being able to use it as a defense mechanism.

SLASH. Persona swore under his breath. He had wanted to stay out of bankai and win the fight without injuring any part of him. Well, it appeared that that was not going to happen any time soon. He stepped back, twirling his staff to push both of his lieutenant's swords away from him. He looked at his wound, muttering under his breath about how he had really liked his outfit, and then he looked back up at Miyuki. "Ban kai." he stated, letting his staff fall into the ground. The reiasu increased greatly as a black mist formed around the Captain. A thinner, sharper and longer scythe than in his Shikai appeared up from the ground, and he grabbed a hold of it. The mist formed around it, covering his entire body. He twirled the scythe once, adding more of his reiasu into it. It lengthened even more. The bones that linked the scythe together seemed to hiss angrily.

As her Captain moved back, she couldn't help but smile. She had landed a hit. Well, that was positive. But she frowned as her Captain released his Bankai. Now that really wasn't good her her. She squared her shoulders, moving a few feet back, watching him. His Bankai was amazing, in her opinion. She would openly admit that she wished her Bankai could look like that. But at the same time, facing it sent shivers down her spine. The ice on her arms seemed to harden somewhat, and she held her arms horizontally across herself again. This was going to be a fight worth remembering.

The Captain raised his right hand, waving it dismissivally. The black mist around him spread out. He strode towards the girl in a calm, silent movement. The mist expanded and moved to stay with Natsume and after a while, the mist expanded to cover Miyuki. Gekidoku, Satsuriku-no-Tenshi Sakki He whispered grimly in the darkness. Silver sparks which was signature to his reiasu came out from the bones in his scythe. It spread through-out the dark smog. Deadly poison. However, he had released only enough so it would knock his opponent out. After all, he didn't want to kill his lieutenant. This poisonous gas would be hard to escape from inhaling. If the opponent knew what was coming, the person could only hold their breath for so long. While he, being the owner of Satsuriku-no-Tenshi Sakki, was immune to it.

Miyuki's eyes flicked around the room as his mist expanded, soon including her in it as well. This was bad. She caught sight of the reiasu leaving the scythe, and quickly took in a deep breath. All right, she couldn't hold her breath very long, and if she didn't act now, she'd be out cold in no time. Squinting through the smog, Miyuki tried to catch sight of her Captain. She could see the blurred outlines of near-by objects, but who was to say if those were the shape of her Captain? She swallowed hard, already beginning to feel slightly light-headed from her attempts at holding her breath. She wasn't going to be able to deal with her Captain, she doubted, before she passed out.

Persona stood completely frozen, watching and sensing what was occuring. He had no urge to attack further if the poison would be successful. He stopped the outflow of the poisonous gas, knowing that enough was now in the air to knock his lieutenant out without killing her.

Miyuki took a step forwards, but had to let her breath out. It was only a few moments before her body felt heavy, and she winced, falling to her knees. There was no way that she was going to be able to find him. This was, sadly, the last coherent thought she had before she fell forwards. As she passed out, the ice dissipated from her arms and left her swords laying at her side.

As soon as Natsume heard the clunk of the swords he withdrew the murky black fog to himself, and then said, "Satsuriku-no-Tenshi Sakki," He paused then said, "Satsuriku-no-Tenshi." His weapon fell back into it's first form and he twirled it once. The spear contracted into a small twig looking object and the points disappeared. He tucked it into his belt let out a sigh and knelt down beside Miyuki. He grabbed the swords, walked away and set them up on the fireplace mantle, and then walked back over to his lieutenant. The Captain lifted her up and carried her over to the couch, where he set her down. Without saying anything, he walked into the kitchen and proceeded to make some tea.

The clean air, rid of the poisonous substance, was all her body needed. Within a few minutes, her eyes were opening, though she felt groggy and her head was pounding, though that could have just been from falling to the ground. She closed her eyes, letting out a small sigh. Well, she had lost to her Captain, but she hadn't expected any less. The fight had at least been somewhat enjoyable while it had happened. And, hey, she managed to hit him. That was more than she expected. A small smile came to her lips. She might have lost, but her Captain hadn't come away without a scratch. She slowly pushed herself into a sitting position, looking around. She saw her swords on the mantle, but didn't move to get them, she didn't trust herself to walk that far without potentially falling over. Who knew if the poison in her system would take another swing at her? No, it was best to just stay here and relax for a bit. She allowed herself to lay down again, closing her eyes and linking her fingers together on her stomach, still smiling.

Fighting with her Captain was far too much fun.

Less than five minutes later, the Captain emerged from the kitchen with a cup of tea, with a single leaf floating on top of the water. He walked over to his lieutenant, and set down the tea upon the table, "Drink this when you have time. It's a special remedy that clears Satsuriku-no-Tenshi's poison. It's the only substance that works to rid his poison."

Miyuki turned her head as her Captain reemerged, and she nodded, slowly pushing herself into a sitting position, pausing for a moment once there. "Thank you, Captain," she said, reaching out now to take the cup. She looked down at the leaf, watching it for a moment before taking a sip. "Thank you for the spar. Hope your chest doesn't hurt too much," she stated, referring to the single wound she had managed to place upon him.

Persona chuckled, "It's fine." He glanced down at his chest, "It's not very deep. Otherwise I'd be gushing blood. I'll just have to find someone to repair my shirt." He looked at Miyuki, at the tea and back to her. "You need to work on moving faster. That took us over a half hour. You are thinking to much."

"I'm sure you can find someone easily enough," she commented, before listening once again. Moving faster. She'd have to train harder, then. "Yes sir. Next time we spar I'll have improved." She took another sip of the tea, frowning slightly. Speed. Well, she'd have to see what she could do. There was no way that she would let her Captain down by not trying to improve. If she didn't care, why was she even here. She would start training on that right away. And... thinking too much? "I'll... try not to think so much?" It came out as a question, eyebrows knitting together. How did you do something like that?

Persona shook his head, "You're over analyzing things." He stated, "That is what I meant by you thinking to much." He paused, straightening himself from his kneeling position. "Calm down for a few minutes. When you are ready, we're going to work on speed." He made his way outside, pausing turning to glance behind him with his right hand gripped around the door knob, "And work on getting your bankai stronger. Perhaps if you try talking to Oyogu, Uoza..." The Captain trailed off as he opened the door and walked out into the sunlight, shutting the door behind him.

Miyuki nodded at her Captain's words, frowning. Over analyzing. Well, hopefully she could figure out how to stop herself from doing that. She watched him get up and then nodded, thankful for the fact that her Captain was going to help her out with that. She was thankful. His words before he left struck her, though, and she looked towards her swords on the mantel as the door closed, sighing. "Would you even want to talk to me, Uoza?" She asked softly, before looking back to her tea. The last time she had meditated and attempted to talk with her sword saying that it ended poorly would be an understatement. She hadn't tried since, and her sword hadn't attempted to speak to her either. They had some conflicting ideas, but perhaps Miyuki would have to face those now. She drank the rest of her tea and set the cup on the table before standing and moving to the mantel. She picked her swords up, sighing. "Well, looks like we'll talk later, Uoza... And we'll try to agree on something this time." She sheathed her swords, closing her eyes and pulling herself together before going to the door and opening it.
